what kind of photographer are you?
I love striking a balance between documentary and posed. I will have prompts or directions for you at times, but I also love blending into the background. I yearn for the organic moments between you and your loved ones that happen without instruction, but I'm also here for an editorial pose that belongs on the cover of a magazine.
how do I know if we'd be a good fit?
I am extremely organized and detailed, but also relaxed ready to have fun. I love attracting couples who feel the same way. I love working with couples who create their own traditions, stray from the norm, and make their wedding so uniquely THEM!
what is your process?
if you would like to book with me, we will schedule a consultation (virtually or in-person) to discuss your hopes and dreams for your big day. then, we get you officially on my books and keep in contact in the weeks leading up to to your wedding to make sure that I have all of the details I need, while making sure to answer any questions you may have. after your wedding, I will edit your photos, upload them into an online gallery, and deliver them in 8-12 weeks.
what's the deal with "documentary" photography?
documentary photography aims to capture your wedding day just as it happens. less posing and direction, but more emotion and movement with a "fly on the wall" philosophy. it is a commitment to capture the details of your day as authentically as possible.
what do your packages include?
all packages include beautifully edited digital images housed in an online gallery with varying hours of wedding day coverage (you will receive about 50-75 edited digital images per hour of coverage). I also offer a la carte add-ons so you can truly create your own individualized package based on your needs.
